Ambassador

Mission: 
CFPA works to connect people to the land in order to motivate them to conserve it. We can't do that if they don't know about us!! Connect people to CFPA to connect them to the land!
Responsibilities & Duties: 

Throughout the year CFPA is invited to represent themselves at fairs, expos, and other community organizing events. Our limited staff would never get anything done if we joined every event. That's where you can help! Are you a people person who loves the work CFPA does? Go share your passions with the public and help spread the word. Not interested in participating at fairs and community event but still want to help spread the word about CFPA? We are also looking for folks to promote CFPA out on the trails! Ask us for more information, if you are interested.

  • Represent CFPA at various public events that we have been invited to be a part of (such as EMS Club Days, Forest Forum, etc.) or out on your favorite trail during your hikes
  • Interact with attendees of events to promote CFPA's programs and mission
  • Report back to the Manager of Events & Volunteer Engagement on your experiences

Desired Skills or Experience: 
  • Outgoing, people person
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Community involvement helpful
  • Able to lift and carry some promotional materials 
  • Knowledge of CFPA programs and mission (training available)
