The Mattatuck Trail has been extended 7 miles south from Flat Rocks Rd in Cornwall to Valley Rd. The trail primarily crosses City of Waterbury property through beautiful, rolling terrain. Please follow all posted signage.
North of Flat Rocks Rd in Cornwall, the trail has been relocated into a pine woods, eliminating the road walk on a gravel road (Great Hollow Rd South). The new trail begins at Flat Rocks Rd at a break in a stone wall, a short distance east of the gravel road. The new trail rejoins the existing trail where the original trail turned west to reach the gravel road.
