Any effort for positive change needs many hands. This is certainly true for your and CFPA’s shared mission to protect forests, parks and trails for future generations. Sponsors of the Run for the Woods, as well as all the runners, walkers, and volunteers, are agents for positive change and provide much needed support to protect trails that the community walks, hikes and runs on all year long.
The 2016 Run for the Woods sponsors have been a very consistent group of givers, many having supported for multiple years, and their employees often run and volunteer at the event. We wish to thank them and ask that you support them as well. A special thanks to the CT Trail Runners for volunteering as race directors this year. They gave up running personally to help make this year’s race run smoothly.
If you know of an organization that would like to help conserve Connecticut’s forests, parks, and trails please call Jim Little, CFPA’s Development Director, at 860-346-TREE (8733).
