Camping Reservations are Open

There are finally NEW resources available through the "Passport to the Parks" to re-open campgrounds, provide lifeguards, and restore other public services statewide. In 2018, there are no more "parking fees" at Connecticut's State Parks for residents, and the 4 campgrounds that were closed by budget cuts over the last several years will be re-opened!

According to Governor Malloy, "Funds generated through this system (Passport to Parks) will provide the Connecticut State Park system with greater financial support, allowing a number of services at the parks that had been previously reduced to be restored, such as the reopening of several closed campgrounds, increased staffing of state beaches during the summer, and the restoration of regular hours of operation at certain nature centers and museums."

Reservations at all state campgrounds for the 2018 season can now be made online through Reserve America or by calling 1-877-668-CAMP (2267).
