This 67-acre conservation easement was donated to CFPA by Philip and Starr Sayres in 2006. This property has wonderful views towards the Connecticut River and is equally divided between fields and forest. The fields are remnants of an orchard that was active through the late 1960's and included apples, peaches, and pears. The forest is mixed hardwoods, primarily in the 60-80 year old range.
" The property is near the Connecticut River with plenty of eagles, song birds, coyote, fox, deer and wild turkey." - Walt Harris, CFPA Land Steward
