CFPA is now going to its supporters and visiting each county in Connecticut. The goal is to meet with supporters and volunteers and share stories, insights, and suggestions about the trails and Connecticut’s forested land. Click here to see photos from our Insider Updates in 2018.
On July 19 we visited the Westford Hills Distillery and took a guided tour of their state-of-the-art still. Westford Hills Distillery, maker of the world famous and award winning Poire Prisonniere, has been a CT staple since 1997. Nestled in the rolling hills of the quite corner, the distillery is located on 200 acres of managed forest and farm land. The combination of land management and local production of a world class spirit made it a natural choice to gather members and supporters of CFPA. Following the tour and history talk, led by owner Louis Chatey, CFPA Executive Director led a spirited discussion of the constitutional amendment.
We were thrilled to spend the beautiful summer evening with our members. Thank you all for your on-going support!
