Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in connecting with students, families, teachers, and adult learners? Have experience to share? Join us for one of many ways to give back through volunteering. PLT CT Facilitator - Become a workshop facilitator, or trainer, and train staff, students, volunteers, or community partners to use conservation and environmental education in their programs. Prerequisite: Must have attended a PLT workshop.

Volunteer Educator - Have experience working with school students? Enjoy our hands-on training and bring nature activities into schools and classrooms near you. Additional requirement: pass a state background check. 

Presenter for Science Sunday, Walks & Talks, and Mini-Courses - Do you have specific education, training, or experience on a natural history or environmental stewardship topic? Share your knowledge as a guest presenter for our Adult Learners.

Ramble Guide - Enjoy training as a volunteer Ramble Guide and lead engaging outings at trails around the state throughout the year. Additional requirement: pass a state background check. 

College Environmental Education Internships - Contact Emma Kravet to discuss your interest, goals, and class requirements and she’ll work with you to tailor a great internship of learning and service.
