Trails Day Leader Materials & Info

Welcome Trails Day Leaders

Thank you for being a part of this year's celebration. Without your contribution of time and passion for the outdoors, there would be no celebration. CFPA, Trails Day sponsors, and Connecticut residents greatly appreciate your generosity. Below are materials we have assembled to help you with your upcoming event. We will add new information as we get closer to June. Happy Trails Day!

Trails Day Leader Information

Leader Tools & Promotion Items

Trails Day Booklets

Each leader will receive 10 copies, on a "first come, first served" basis, of our printed booklet in their leader packet until supply is exhausted.  Please share, share, share them!  Printed directories will also be shipped to town halls and public libraries across the state in May. Additionally, select nature centers, state parks, and outdoor retailers will have some for public distribution. If you would like additional booklets, you may pick them up at the CFPA headquarters (16 Meriden Road; Rockfall, CT 06481) while supplies last. Call CFPA at (860) 346-TREE to reserve a reasonable number of extra copies and to schedule a pick up time.

Trails Day Photos

This year we've made it real easy to upload photos of your events right on the CFPA website! And best of all, anyone can do it, no login required. The link is currently on the left side menu of the Trails Day page, but will be on the CFPA home page as the event draws near. Picture uploads can be done using just about any internet capable device including smartphones. As an added incentive, whoever takes and uploads (by June 15th) the "best" photo - as selected by our crack team of non-professional photographers - will get a copy of the Connecticut Walk Book, 20th Edition. So take some photos, encourage your event participants to take photos, upload and don't forget to tell them about the chance to win the book!
