For the comfort and safety of all Trails Day participants, we ask that EVERYONE BRING A MASK with you to your event and be prepared to use it if and when social distancing on the trail is not possible. Group size is limited to 15 participants per group and pre-registration is required.

(Registration closes at 9:00 PM the day before the event.) Sorry, no drop-ins.

Take A Bird Walk around Sherwood Island led by birding expert Aiden Kiley to explore the varied habitats and spot species of birds attracted to the island. The walk will begin at the Nature Center. On the walk among the birds, various types of habitat will be examined, starting with the man-made Purple Martin houses and then natural types of habitat found in the woods, marshes and beaches. Bring your binoculars!
