For the comfort and safety of all Trails Day participants, we ask that EVERYONE BRING A MASK with you to your event and be prepared to use it if and when social distancing on the trail is not possible. Group size is limited to 15 participants per group and pre-registration is required.

This moderate, level hike follows the blue blazed trail around the shoreline of beautiful, remote Green Falls Pond in Pachaug State Forest. This hike is being led by retired US National Park Service Rangers Bob and Jen Panko who will discuss natural and cultural history of Green Falls Pond and Voluntown along the way. Make sure to bring water and a lunch, a camera, some bug repellent and wear some sturdy walking shoes. This is a very enjoyable hike deep inside Pachaug State Forest, the largest State Forest in Connecticut.
