A moderate hike through pristine woodlands and along the Upper Bantam River boasts of bog bridging, varied New England trees & flora, including an enchanting mature hemlock grove. Quartz outcroppings, known to Native Americans as Medicine Rock for its perceived healing powers and use in making arrow heads and tools, speckle the area. Participants are encouraged to bring bug spray, water bottles and wear sturdy shoes, and to come 15 minutes early for check-in.
