You can hike this trail anytime. The Ice House Ruins Trail is located along a portion of the 1-mile Lake Trail Loop (yellow blazes), which leaves from from the main parking area of White Memorial Conservation Center at 80 Whitehall Rd. This trail explores the site of a commercial ice harvesting operation that was active from 1908-1929. There is a self-guided interpretive brochure to accompany the stops along the trail, which you can access by scanning the QR codes on posts along the trail.
