CT Trails Day 2020 is a DIY (Do It Yourself) event this year! Because we can’t gather for organized group hikes on June 6 & 7, we encourage you to use our directory of 230 different sites below to find a new trail to enjoy and explore whenever you can get outside. Click HERE for info on enjoying the outdoors safely and responsibly during this health crisis. New to hiking, click HERE for tips on hike safety and planning. Please double-check with property managers before you go in case facility or property closures are in place. Be safe and Happy Trails Day!
The COVID-19 emergency is putting unusual pressure on your favorite trails – please donate and support trails today.
Join us for a walk through our lovely Samuel Cote Preserve where we will see a pine forest, hayfields and cornfields and the shore along Spalding Pond. This is a great walk for families with small children, birders and those who want a peaceful day outdoors. Sneakers are fine, typical tick prevention spray a good idea.
