CT Trails Day 2021 is a DIY (Do It Yourself) event this year! Because we can’t gather for organized group hikes on June 5 & 6, we encourage you to use our directory of 230 different sites below to find a new trail to enjoy and explore whenever you can get outside. Click HERE for info on enjoying the outdoors safely and responsibly during this health crisis. New to hiking, click HERE for tips on hike safety and planning. Connecticut Trails Day 2021

If there was ever a time to celebrate our amazing Connecticut trails, 2021 is it! This year’s Trails Day will be different, but the spirit will be the same. We are committed to having a SAFE and FUN weekend on June 5 & 6. Please review these NEW Participant Safety Guidelines to learn how you and your family can expect for Trails Day this year. Our Trails Day event directory, highlighting all of the events in the state, will go live on May 19.

Trails Day is a two-day national event on the first weekend in June every year. It is a great time to pay tribute to all the wonderful trails our country has to offer. Trails and open spaces have become the places to escape to and enjoy when we need fresh air, a place to be inspired and to connect with our natural world.
