Hamden - Hike
Saturday, June 1
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Join us on our annual Hike-A-Giant event in celebration of Trails Day. We will be offering a choice of three simultaneous hikes. This hike is relatively easy and slow-paced, a beginner hike lasting about two hours, it is designed for those who are hikers in spirit, including children who enjoy hiking. It will cover the Nature Trail, which is a loop about 1.5 miles long, with some uneven terrain and moderate ups and downs. Bring water and snacks in a daypack and wear comfortable, supportive shoes or hiking boots, with good traction. Hike registration begins at 1:00 pm and the hikes will start at 1:30 pm. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For hike cancellations or rescheduling, check the breaking news link at www.sgpa.org or the link at https://sgpanews.wordpress.com/.
