Take a walk along the Farmington River on the Power Dams Trail. We will travel through 3 different eras of transportation that created a demand for the construction of 3 Power Dams (1780, 1832, & 1856) which developed the industries of Unionville. They are all located next to the Farmington River Trail, with the newest dam surviving much of the Flood of 1955 and uncovered in 2015 as an Eagle Scout project.
