TV and Radio host Pete Mezzetti (pictured here) has joined the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) as its volunteer Communications Chair.
Pete grew up in Clinton part of a family deeply engaged in its community (amongst other commitments, Pete’s mother served for 8 years on Clinton’s Board of Selectmen). “From an early age, I developed a commitment to community organizations and a love for nearby Hammonasset Beach State Park,” says Pete.
“I have enjoyed getting to know about the important work that CFPA does both locally and statewide for forests, parks, and trails, and I’m looking forward to spreading the word about such a worthwhile organization,” Pete added.
Pete is well known in the lower Middlesex County region thanks to his public access television program, the Pete Mezzetti Show, broadcast by Valley Shore Community Television which airs on Tuesday nights on Comcast Channel 19 on the shoreline. Pete also hosts a radio show every other Wednesday at WNHH Community Radio in New Haven, and audio versions/podcasts of his shows are also available on WNHU at New Haven University, WCNX radio, and Sports Country radio.
