Serve Connecticut as the pre-eminent leader in statewide forest and park conservation. 1) Action: Advocate at all levels of government and in the community for healthy forests and science based forest management, well-managed parks, inspirational outdoor education experiences, and connected trails. 2) Action: Protect and improve management of Connecticut’s patchwork of private, municipal, and state forests and the trails that traverse them. 3) Action: Educate and mentor lifelong learners in the values, skills, and science of local forest conservation. 4) Action: Increase the practice of quality environmental education in Connecticut’s schools and conservation organizations. 5) Action: Develop a master plan for green building use and feasibility of the "CFPA conservation campus" concept.
