Workshop: Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively
Tools for Engaging Landowners Effectively (TELE) is a program of the Sustaining Family Forests Initiative aimed at helping natural resource professionals conduct more strategic and effective outreach to family woodland owners. The TELE approach is being used throughout the country by natural resource professionals and organizations. The basis of TELE is to apply a social marketing approach – the use of commercial marketing techniques to affect positive social change- as a promising means by which to influence family forest owners to take steps to conserve and sustainably manage their land. This approach will help you speak more meaningfully and persuasively to CT landowners. This workshop will be lead by CFPA’s Education Director, Emma Kravet, and SFFI’s Program Assistant, Lindsay White.
