White-tails in Connecticut
Join Ray Hardy, wildlife artist, Naturalist, DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist and Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator as he leads you through the four seasons of Connecticut’s white-tail deer. Ray will draw upon his research and field experiences covering a period in excess of 40 years and his fascination with this common but often poorly understood resident of Connecticut’s forests, fields and backyards.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member.
