Walk With A Forester: Post-Harvest
Have you noticed changes in James l. Goodwin State Forest? Seeing a lot of downed trees and cleared areas and have questions? Come join Ed McGuire, DEEP Forester, for a walk around Goodwin. Ed will explain the most recent timber harvest and discuss what the future looks like for the Goodwin State Forest. Bring your questions and your hiking shoes!
For those who wish to volunteer some time, at 11am Ed will be leading an effort to clear the invasive garlic mustard plant from the grounds until 12 pm.
