Event Description:

Please join a work party at West Rock  Ridge State Park, Trail work is a great full body workout, better than a trip to the gym.

If you plan to attend, please bring whatever cutting tools you may have, such as pruning shears and/or a pruning saw. If you do not have tools, come anyway because there will be some tools to share. Be sure to wear work gloves, boots, and clothing appropriate to the weather. Dress in layers because you will warm up quickly once you start working. Bring water and a snack.

We will meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Early Childhood Learning Center, 495 Blake St., New Haven, at the corner of Valley Street. We will prune back the Westville Feeder and Teal Trails, working until about 12:00 p.m.

Please RSVP by emailing Tom at bikehikekayak123@sbcglobal.net. Rain and snow cancels.
