The Apiary Series: Springtime for Bees
At this point, your packages have been installed and you’re ready to go, beekeeper. Continuing on with what you learned in March, learn “what’s next” for your hive. This program is part of a year-long series that will teach you all you need to know about keeping bees. Dave Gilbert joins us again as he teaches us where and how to get supplies and how to continue upkeep on your hive as you enter the spring months.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Education Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member. The Center is jointly managed by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks.
