A Spring Walk in the Woods: Birds and Woodland Management
Join Connecticut Forest & Park Association, Yale’s Quiet Corner Initiative, and Audubon Connecticut for a spring walk in the woods! We will explore a section of the Yale-Myers Forest, and learn how forest management practices can support bird diversity. We will also encounter a vernal pool, and discuss the land use history of the forest.
Bring your curiosity, sturdy shoes, and binoculars (if you have them!)
Space is limited. Please Register to reserve your spot!
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), the Quiet Corner Initiative of the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and Audubon Connecticut
