Celebrate Spring with Poetry and Trail Talk, March 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Join New England Trail poet-in-residence David K. Leff at the Connecticut Forest & Park Association for an evening of spoken word and trail conversation celebrating the start of spring and the New England Trail.  The event will feature readings by fine nature poets Ginny Lowe Connors and Tom Nicotera as well as a question and answer session about nature writing.  There will be an open mic for anyone wanting to express themselves about the change in seasons, the trail, or the outdoors.  Discover how words can expand what you see from a trail vista, and increase your awareness of plants, animals and phenomena that usually go unnoticed.  There will be a slideshow of photographs of the trail playing in the background by the talented Xiomaro and light refreshments.  The Connecticut Forest & Park Association is at 16 Meriden Road (Route 66), Rockfall (Middlefield), CT.
