Event Description: 

Snowshoeing dates back to 6,000 years ago when it was used by Inuit ancestors to migrate from Asia to North America.  One of the most ancient forms of transportation, snowshoeing has now developed into a winter sport loved by many.   Join Naturalist Emma Lorusso and see the winter landscape in a new way—above the snow!  Both beginners and experienced snowshoers welcome! A limited amount of snowshoes are available to borrow upon request, we have both adult and children’s pairs.  To reserve a pair, please contact the Goodwin office.
