Snowshoe Hike
Let's take a walk at Goodwin on the snow and stay on top! Come to Goodwin for a guided snowshoe hike. Lena Ives, Goodwin's Naturalist, will be leading this low-key winter hike. If there is no snow, we will walk without snowshoes. Some snowshoes available, but in limited quantity. Bring your own if you are able, and RSVP early to reserve a pair of snowshoes.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member. The Center is jointly managed by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks.
