Event Description: 

Join CFPA and Forester Eric Hansen for a walk at Highlawn Forest!  Eric will be talking about managing Highlawn Forest for wildlife, forest health, and invasive species control. This is a unique opportunity to learn about forest management techniques from a professional forester, and see the woods through his eyes. Come prepared with questions for an engaging morning in the woods. *Please RSVP so we can alert you if we need to cancel due to inclement weather.

*The trails at Highlawn Forest are well maintained and easily traversed with minimal elevation changes. The walk will include frequent stops to answer questions and discuss principles of forest management.
