Woodland ponds are incredibly rich and diverse habitats.  We will paddle around Pine Acres Pond and learn about the diverse array of creatures that call the pond home.  Naturalist Emma Lorusso will be leading this paddle, teaching us a little about the history of the pond, and also about the residents of the pond: plants, insects, reptiles, amphibians, fish birds and mammals!!  We will view some of these organisms up close and some from afar---bring cameras and binoculars if you would like. We will run this program twice during two different time slots, please only register for one time.

Participants of all ages are welcome. Boating experience is helpful, but not necessary.  Canoes, paddles and lifevests will be provided.  Meet outside at the pavillion and we will walk down to the boat launch together.
