Night Time Woods Flashlight Tour
As October comes to a close, what better way to end the month than with a late night walk in the woods to experience the real depth of New England forests. See what evoked the imagery of horror writers and movie makers that take place in New England. Discover nature at night as we try (it won't be easy) to see things that go bump in the night.
Bring a flashlight, bring a friend, and wear appropriate weather clothing. Inclement weather will cancel.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Education Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member. The Center is jointly managed by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks.
