Event Description: 

Fall Hike at the Timberland Preserve on the Menunkatuck section of the New England Trail. We will walk 5 miles at a moderate pace from the trailhead- the exact route will be leader's choice. 

The 600-acre Timberland Preserve features local historical sites, woodlands, other hiking trails and the beautiful Iron Stream.

This hike is being held as part of the NET Fall Hike Series in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System and qualifies as part of the NET Hike 50 Challenge Program. To learn more about the Hike Series, the NET Hike Challenge and other activities related to the 50th, visit newenglandtrail.org.

This hike is led by CFPA Ramble Guide and local Trail Manager, Doug Clark.
