Event Description: 

Winter Hike on the Mattabesett section of the New England Trail. This will be a 7.5-mile moderately fast paced loop hike on the Mattabesett, Bear Hill Loop, and Seven Falls Loop Trails.

Meet at 10:00 a.m. to hike at 10:15 a.m. from the Seven Falls parking lot.  Directions: Rt. 9, Exit 10 to Rt. 154 South for 0.8 miles. The picnic area is on the left. Look for the blue “Seven Falls” sign.

Well-mannered dogs welcome.

This hike is being held as part of the NET Fall Hike Series in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System and qualifies as part of the NET Hike 50 Challenge Program. To learn more about the Hike Series, the NET Hike Challenge and other activities related to the 50th, visit newenglandtrail.org.
