Living in Harmony with Mother Earth: East Direction
Mohegan tribal member Chris Harris “Turtle” returns to give a more in-depth look at living in harmony with Mother Earth. Chris’s last workshop at Goodwin presented an overview of living in the 4 directions. In the coming months he will explore the 4 directions in more depth. This month, we will focus on the East direction. How does the East relate to our life? Turtle will explain how the East correlates to the medicine wheel and the cycles of life and ceremony as well as the balance within the elements, plants and humans as represented by the symbols which Mother Earth shares with us.
