Event Description:
Youth currently enrolled in grades 3 - 6, are invited to this special training. Learn natural history topics and ways to share your knowledge and interest in the outdoors with others.
On this day of the two-day program, participants will learn about:
- The Forest as a Window to the World with Lynn Kochiss
- Invasive Species with Bernie Noonan and Lynn Kochiss
- Vernal Pools with Jim Bancroft
- The History of Charcoal and its Impact on the Forest with Lance Hansen
Program will run 2 consecutive Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day. Details and registration information found on the Junior Conservation Ambassadors page. Registration deadline is April 21, 2017. Space is limited so act now!
