Event Description: 

You see it everywhere when you walk through the woods.  It grows on trees, on stone….it’s the quiet approach of two species joined as one. Learn about symbiosis from algae and fungus joined together in one growth.  Goodwin’s former Naturalist, Juan Sanchez, will take you on a walk into the woods while you explore the amazing relationship between two different organisms.  Learn about lichen dynamics and discover the many different types of lichen. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
