Hiking the Connecticut Trails with Jim Giana
Goodwin Master Naturalist Jim Giana has hiked all of the blue-blazed trails in Connecticut and he wants to share his experiences with you. Learn what makes Connecticut’s trails so unique, and get the scoop on those ‘hidden gems’ that are less widely known. Jim will tell you all about his personal hiking stories and will share ideas to help you get hiking including the equipment and accessories that will make your hike safe, smooth, and fun. Come learn how anyone can try out the trails!
Jim Giana has footprints all over Connecticut. He turned hiking into his hobby and now is a member of the CT AMC’s 400 club, a CFPA Blue Trails Challenge 400-miler, a Steep Rock 36’er, a volunteer trail monitor and a property steward.
