Join us for the second day in a series of trainings to become a Habitat Steward! Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) joined forces with National Wildlife Federation (NWF) with support from the LEGO Community Foundation to help schools develop pollinator gardens on their schoolyards! 

Ensure success for the schools by being a Habitat Steward. Received 24 hours of FREE training over the spring to become an approved Habitat Steward. 

During this session, learn about what it is to be a CFPA volunteer in the a.m. In the afternoon, join us at the Colchester Certified Wildlife Habitat at Cohen Woodlands. NOTE: Participants will need transportation to travel from the CFPA Headquarters to Cohen Woodlands. 

This FREE training is required for all volunteers who wish to become Habitat Stewards. 

 

  • 9:30 to 12 - CFPA Volunteer Orientation
  • 12 to 12:30 - Lunch
  • 12:30 to 1:30 - Travel to Cohen Woodlands, Colchester, CT
  • 1:30 to 3 - Tour of Cohen Woodlands
