Gardening Workshop
This workshop is intended for gardeners with several years of experience. It is designed to help answer specific problems that you may face in your gardens. We’ll share best practices and gardening advice for this part of Connecticut. The February workshop will be a discussion of flower gardening. These monthly workshops cover a wide-range of topics, so please come with your questions, your expertise, and with your own stories of success or failure in your gardens.
This free event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Education Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member. The Center is jointly managed by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks.
