Friends of Goodwin Forest Native Plant Sale
The Friends of Goodwin Forest opens their annual native plant sale on Trails Day weekend. We will have Master Gardeners on hand between 9 am and 2 pm both days to answer questions, guide you through the gardens to see the plants in action, and offer advice for problem areas. This is a great opportunity to find native, wildlife-friendly plants that have no added chemicals, and to learn about pollinator-friendly plants and see them in a cultivated setting.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member. The Center is jointly managed by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks.
