All are welcome
Event Description:

Walk through a meadow during the day and you will see countless butterflies, bees, and other insects flying and buzzing around. But what happens after the sun goes down? Come observe the insects that take over under the cover of darkness. We’ll be using lights and bait to find and attract some of the thousands of species of insects that call Connecticut home. We’ll also give a brief introduction to the types of insects you’re likely to encounter at night and their natural history.

Kevin Keegan and Tanner Matson are both Ph.D. students in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at the University of Connecticut. They have both taught courses in General Entomology and specialize in moths, but have an inordinate fondness for all insects.
