Ever been curious about the ‘mounds’ found in the forests of Connecticut?  2015 Master Naturalist student, Lance Hansen is presenting his charcoal mound project demonstration site where you will see an actual charcoal mound setup and learn about the history of making charcoal in Connecticut from 1850 to 1910.
