Event Description:

Help kick-off the season by joining us for CFPA's annual Spring Trail Workshop. The workshop is geared towards new, as well as experienced, trail builders and offers a great introduction to many trail skills. It is recommended for anyone who wants to volunteer as part of CFPA's Trails program. We will be working on the Stony Creek Trail System in the beautiful and rugged Van Wie Woods.

Projects will include new trail design and construction, bog bridge development, bridge construction, trail marking and rock work. Tools will be provided. Please bring safety gloves, water and a bag lunch and wear proper footwear, long pants and clothes that can get dirty. Leave all furry friends at home. There are no facilities at this site and we will be working in the woods all day. Please plan appropriately.

This year's workshop is coordinated in partnership with the Branford Land Trust and the Town of Branford.

If heavy rain is forecast, please visit the CFPA Facebook page Friday night for postponement/cancellation information.
