CFPA Ramble: Women of the Woods Sunset Hike

Event Description: 

Join Women of the Woods for a hike up Mt. Pisgah to watch the sunset. Enjoy the company of other women as we hike a 2.5- to 3-mile loop in the woods near Mica Ledges and Mt. Pisgah. There are a few steep, rocky spots on the ascent. We will hike 2+ miles to the top of MT. Pisgah, enjoy the view, have a brown-bagged supper, watch the sunset, and hike down (~1/2 mile) on an old road.

Please wear hiking shoes, bring a pack with plenty of water and a sack supper and a flash for the hike down. Please register by contacting the leader (contact information can be found below). Once you register the leader will email you additional information & directions where to meet.

This hike is for women only.

Everyone Outside founder and CFPA Ramble Guide Lucy Meigs will be leading this hike.

  3. Leave pets at home (unless otherwise noted);
  4. Wear sturdy shoes; and Kids, please remember to bring your parents or caregivers.
