CFPA Ramble: Women of the Woods Middletown Reserviors Hike
Women of the Woods or WoW has monthly gatherings for women to enable them to connect with the natural world. Most gatherings are hikes in the woods of central Connecticut. In addition to hiking, we take the time to admire the beauty around us, experience some quiet time in nature, and enjoy each others company.
Women, join Women of the Woods, for a hike at the reservoirs in eastern Middletown. This area is a beautiful spot to see the early fall color reflected in the reservoir. We will hike 2 to 4 miles on theses pretty trails. The first part of our hike with be on rocks with some short steep up and down sections.
NOTE: This hike is for women only. Please do not bring children, male friends, or pets. Registration is required, please contact the leader at the information provided below. Directions will be sent to all who register.
This free event is co-sponsored by the CFPA Rambles program of the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), the Women of the Woods program of Everyone Outside. Women of the Woods is supported, in part, by a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County.
