CFPA Ramble: Women of the Woods Hike at Wadsworth Fall State Park
Women of the Woods or WoW has monthly gatherings for women to enable them to connect with the natural world. Most gatherings are hikes in the woods of central Connecticut. In addition to hiking, we take the time to admire the beauty around us, experience some quiet time in nature and enjoy each others company.
Join Women of the Woods for a 2 to 3 miles hike at Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown/Middlefield. This is a good place to hike even if many trails are snowy or icy. If there is a lot of snow, we might snowshoe. If it has been cold, we may get treated to amazing ice at either the little or big falls. Click here for updated information. Women of the Woods is a program of Everyone Outside.
Please wear hiking/walking shoes. Please bring a pack with water, a jacket and possibly a snack. Consider bringing hiking poles if you like them.
NOTE: This hike is for women only. Please do not bring children, male friends, or pets. Registration is required, by visiting here. Directions and additional information will be sent to all who register. Registrants will also be notified via email if the hike is canceled due to weather.
