CFPA Ramble: Spooky Walk - Trees, Ghosts, and Tombstones

Join naturalist and CFPA Ramble Guide, Lucy Meigs for a short guided walk to look at and learn about the beautiful old trees, tombstone geology, the Indian mound on the top of the hill and start the ghost hunt.
More Fall “Spooky” Fun! Come by anytime between 12 and 5 pm to find the “ghosts”. There is information at each ghost about someone who lived long ago and includes questions to help you look around the area or think about what life was like long ago. Information is written so can be enjoyed by children of all ages as well as adults.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the amazing views from the top of the hill. Indian Hill Cemetery offers one of the highest outlooks in Middletown region overlooking the majestic Connecticut River Valley including the Arrigoni Bridge and much of Middletown.

Indian Hill Cemetery, part of the America Beautiful movement, was established in 1850 and spans more than forty acres. The concept of the America Beautiful movement was to create cemeteries as park-like settings. Indian Hill Cemetery is located at 383 Washington St, Middletown, CT.
