Event Description: 

Join CFPA Ramble Guide Lance Hansen and Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) Archeologist, Dr. Ken Feder on an informational hike to the historic Soapstone Quarry Archeological Preserve at Peoples State Forest. We will meet at the Elliott Bronson Blue-Blaze Trailhead parking area at the intersection of Park Road and Rte. 181. Enjoy a hike along the Walt Landgraf Blue-Blaze Trail and a visit to the 'Indian Rock Shelter.' The hike is moderate in difficulty and approximately 1-mile round trip. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes. No dogs, please.
