CFPA Ramble: Frog Friday with Lisa Liesener
Bring your curiosity! We will observe the amazing transformations that occur in vernal pools during several guided outings throughout the spring. Come to one outing or come to many, to see a wonderful array of creatures found in vernal pools this time of year; including frogs, salamander and frog eggs, tadpoles, salamanders, fairy shrimp, insect larvae, and more! Viewing scopes will be available.
Space is limited for this popular program, therefore registration is required. Please register here.
This program will be led by Everyone Outside Enrichment Program Director and CFPA Ramble Guide Lisa Liesener. Participants are advised to wear boots or old shoes and clothes that are OK to get dirty as there can be muddy areas. If you have polarized sunglasses, please bring them; they are helpful for seeing into the water since there are reflections. To the parents, thank you in advance for helping to keep the children out of the water.
Lisa is a Red Cross First Aid/CPR-trained CFPA Ramble Guide and Enrichment Program Director for Everyone Outside.
Registration is required for all Fabulous Frog Events and all registrants will be notified of the cancellation by noon on the day of the event.
This free guided outing is co-sponsored by the CFPA Rambles program of the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) and Everyone Outside.
