CFPA Ramble: Celebrate Our National Trails in Penwood State Park

Event Description: 

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the National Trails System with a hike along our own National Scenic Trail, the New England Trail (NET), with CFPA Ramble Guide Lance Hansen in Penwood State Park. 

We will start at the Rte. 185 entrance to the park and head north along the Metacomet Blue-Blaze Trail to Lake Louise. http://www.ct.gov/deep/lib/deep/stateparks/maps/penwood.pdf 

This hike is easy-to-moderate in difficulty and approximately 3.5 miles round trip. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes. No dogs, please

 Lance is an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR-trained CFPA Ramble Guide.
