Cancelled: Snowshoe Hike
Let’s take a walk at Goodwin in the snow and stay on top! Come to Goodwin for a guided snowshoe hike. Lena Ives, Goodwin’s naturalist, will be leading this low-key winter hike. If there’s no snow, then we will just walk.
Some snowshoes will be provided, but equipment is limited, so bring your own if you are able. If you are interested in borrowing snowshoes, please RSVP as soon as possible. Supply is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Division of Parks, and Friends of Goodwin Forest.
The James L. Goodwin Forest and Conservation Center were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America's first professional foresters and a long-time CFPA Board Member.
